CARROLL LUTHERAN VILLAGE
As part of Carroll Luteran Village's efforts to serve members of it Corporate congregations, Wellness center personnel provide a number of programs that you may be interested in, all of which are designed to promote health and wellness. CONGREGATIONAL COUNCIL
Our Annual Meeting will be held February 5th following worship. The budget and annual reports will be presented that day.
CALL COMMITTEE
The process for calling a new pastor is in full swing. A call committe has been formed: Elmer Meyers, Tom Yates, Don Helfer, Sue Morris, Beth Morris, Rachel Wentz, & Nancy Hood. Pastor Stacy will also attend meetings. The committee needs your input. A survey that includes questions about our congrgation on mission & traits desired for the new pastor is available in the narthex. Please take one & fill it out. The committee would like your name on the survey. If you need a mailed copy, please let us know.
LENT
Please join us for Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 21st @ 6:00pm. The Gathering Youth will be preparing dinner with the help of our church chefs. Donations will be collected for the National Gathering Trip.
Rumor has it that we may be playing with our food ;)
Please join us for Ash Wednesday, Feb 22nd
Deacon Melissa will be @ the church from 11:00am - 2:00pm for anyone that wishes to recieve the imposition of ashes and cannot attend worship @ 7:00pm
We will gather together on Wednesday evenings during lent.
Please join us for dinner at 6:30pm. We will begin worship at 7:15. Our first Lenten worship will be Feb. 29th.

ELCA NATIONAL GATHERING 2012
Date: JULY 18-22, 2012
Place: NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
5 youth & 2 adult leaders will be attending the ELCA's national Gathering.
In order to make this trip possible, we need everyone's help! The youth will be doing many fundraisers to pay for their trip. Please watch the newsletter & bulletin for ways to support us. Also, there will be a bulletin board at the bottom of the stairs updating everyone about where we are in the fundraising process.
Our Piggy is real hungry, so when you see him feed him with any loose change that you may have and this will help our National Youth Gathering for their trip to New Orleans, Thank you!

Roller skating will be on Sunday February 19th from 1:00-4:00pm.
We will be going to Magic Elm, Hanover, PA. Please meet at church by 12:30 to carpool. You can bring your passes and we will use them together! Friends are invited to join us. Admission is $5.50 and skate rental is $3.00. If you canot make it that day, your passes can be used during Open Skate at another time.
